A Mountain Grove man and juvenile were involved in a Wright County accident Tuesday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Glenn R. Beller, 36, was driving a 2020 Can-Am UTV southbound on Cherokee Road two miles east of Norwood when a vehicle door came open and a passenger fell out, patrol said.
A passenger, a 3-year-old boy, had serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Neither was wearing a safety device, patrol said.
The vehicle suffered no damage.
