Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches occurred Monday through Tuesday, mainly along and south of I-44, the National Weather Service said.
Some localized areas received rainfall up to 6 to 7 inches. Lingering flooding effects are still ongoing across the area. At 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, MoDOT was showing Highways BB, U and YY closed in Texas County. (Click for latest updates)
