Lori Lynne Peterson, 56, of Rockaway Beach, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Shepherd of The Hills Living Center in Branson.
She was born Feb. 23, 1962, in Oakland, Calif.
She lived in California, Missouri, Singapore, Texas and Colorado. Before her illness, she was a correctional officer for the State of Missouri.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Openshaw of Plato; four children, Penny Lee Uzzetta of Florida, Donna Cheri Groves of Plato and Pamela LeeAnn Peterson and Sarah Daniela Peterson of California; her mother, Florine Tyra of Rockaway Beach; two brothers, Larry David Smith of Florida and Alvin Lee Smith of Missouri; a sister, Lisa Tyra of Rockaway Beach; and seven grandchildren.
