A Houston man is charged with a felony drug charge following a traffic stop Aug. 2 by the Houston Police Department.

Edward Bleckler, 55, is charged with delivery of controlled substance, except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid

Police said they found a syringe in Bleckler’s shoe and removed a plastic baggy that contained a crystal substance from his mouth, which tested positive for methamphetamine. It weighed 3.6 grams, police said.

Police said under questioning, Bleckler admitted purchasing $80 worth of methamphetamine from a Licking man.

Bond is set at $3,500 cash only. Charges were filed Oct. 25.
