Following the results of the November 2024 election, six elected officials were sworn in this week to county positions. 

Peggy Seyler, county clerk, swore in John Casey, District 1 associate commissioner; Robert Ross, District 2 associate commissioner; Tina Garrett, public administrator; Scott Lindsey, sheriff; Brent Honeycutt, coroner; and Charles Manier, surveyor. 

Tammy Cantrell, collector/treasurer, and Taylor Clinton, assessor, will wait until April and September, respectively, to be sworn in.
