Sen. Brad Hudson, R-Cape Fair, announced his committee assignments for the upcoming legislative session.
The assignments are Education, vice-chair; Government Efficiency, vice-chair; Appropriations and Families, Seniors and Health.
“I’m thankful to Pro Tempore Cindy O’Laughlin for putting her faith in me to serve on these important Senate committees,” Hudson said. “It is rare for a newly elected senator to serve as a member of the Appropriations Committee, which is a testament to the importance of my service on the House Budget Committee, and my ability to communicate with people from all walks of life about issues that impact our entire state.”
As Vice-Chair of both Education and Government Efficiency, I look forward to advocating for policies that will support Missouri students, parents and teachers, as well as legislation that will make government more efficient and effective.”
Finally, through my work on the Families, Seniors and Health Committee, I hope to make Missouri a better place to live for citizens of all ages, and support strong, common sense legislation that will protect kids and encourage families to move to, and build their lives, in our state.”
