The Roby Fire Department is marking a landmark for its Success station.
For the first time in the last five to seven years, a fire truck has been overhauled to house at Success, which will reduce response times in the southern part of the district, said Jeff Reed, fire chief. It holds 1,250 gallons.
On the drawing board is replacing bay doors. The cost is estimated at $7,000. It is seeking funding for the project.
