Fatal crash

Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatality Saturday afternoon.

A 36-year-old Caulfield man died after his 2000 Chevrolet Silverado ran off the right side of Highway H in Ozark County, overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway before striking a utility pole and overturning, ejecting the driver.

The man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The vehicle was totaled.

It is the fourth fatality in 2025 in Troop G; compared to none at the same time in 2024.
