A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Texas County until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service said:
âž” Heavy snow is expected with total amounts between 6 – 12 inches. Localized amounts up to 14 inches in heavier snow bands could occur.
âž” Travel impacts and closures are likely with this system due to the amount of snow and blowing/drifting of snow.
âž” Cold Weather Advisory 6 tonight through noon Thursday. High confidence in dangerous cold on Tuesday through Friday morning. Wind chills of -10 to -20 are likely.
