​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between Feb. 10 and 16, the Houston Police Department answered 153 calls for service and initiated 35 traffic stops, which resulted in eight citations and 30 warnings.

  • On Feb. 10, officers responded to the 100 block of Ozark Street for a reported theft. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On Feb. 11, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Officers cited James L. Hatcher, 46, of Cabool, for stealing under $750.
  • On Feb. 12, officers responded to the 400 block of N. Grand Avenue for a theft. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On Feb. 12, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On Feb. 14, officers responded to the 500 block of Hawthorn Street for a domestic dispute. The parties resolved the situation and no action was taken.
  • On Feb. 15, officers were notified of a subject possibly possessing child pornography. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On Feb. 15, officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On Feb. 15, officers cited Melissa K. Conrad, 38, of Houston, for driving while revoked.
  • On Feb. 16, officers responded to U.S. 63, north of Highway B, for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.
