Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a domestic disturbance with shots fired on Hawkeye Road in the Solo area on Saturday (Feb. 22).
At approximately 2:32 a.m., officers responded to the scene and spoke with persons at the residence. Upon investigation, it was determined that two male subjects had consumed alcohol and got into an altercation.
Taylor Jones, age 30, of Solo, admitted to firing nine shots at the other male, none of which struck the victim, officers said. Jones was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail.
Jones is being charged with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, according to the prosecuting attorney. He is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
