Intercounty Electric Association announced winners in its annual essay contest.
One student from each school will earn a free to Washington, D.C. and the two runners-up will travel to Jefferson City. An interview is the next step in the competition.
Here are the finalists:
- Licking: Karson Walker, Noah Umfleet and Sadie Hutsell.
- Houston: Gracyn McNiell, Matthew Sawyer and Kiernen Scott.
- Plato: Noah Fletcher, Kaydence Murray and Hannah White.
- Summersville: Malachi Cooper, Addison Woolsey and Candence Robinson.
- Cabool: Josiah Witzemann, Corbin Crewse and Alexis Donalson.
