The number of Intercounty Electric customers without power in Phelps County continues to go down following a tornado on Friday night.

The count at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday was 412.

The cooperative also is giving a warning on scams: It does not have crews who will ever charge money to clear trees from lines or yards. It also does not ask for personal information for FEMA relief.
