A Summersville man was seriously injured early Wednesday when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of Highway 17, struck a sign and was ejected, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. J.M. Kenyon said the 44-year-old driver of the northbound 2017 Canam Spyder was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The vehicle was totaled. The driver was not wearing a helmet in the 12:45 a.m. accident about five miles north of Mountain View.
