The “Pack a Punch” food program that provides food for elementary students to take home on Fridays has run out of funds for the remainder of the school year. 

“It costs $500 a week and they are presently $1,200 in the hole,” said program organizer Elaine Campbell. “There are eight more weeks of school, and they cannot continue.”

“Since the program will cost about $12,000 next year, the youth will have to evaluate if they can continue another year,” said Campbell. “They would like to finish the year.”
