​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between April 28 and May 4, the Houston Police Department answered 177 calls for service and initiated 32 traffic stops, which resulted in seven citations and 31 warnings.
- On April 28, officers received a report of a fraudulent transaction from a citizen’s bank account. The investigation is ongoing.
- On April 30, officers responded to the 400 block of Florence Street for a domestic dispute. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening.
- On May 1, officers arrested Samuel J. Williams, 25, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant with a $2,500 cash-only bond. He was taken to the Texas County Jail.
- On May 1, officers responded to the 100 block of N. Grand Avenue for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On May 1, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. A suspect was identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
