Preschool: One full size backpack (no wheels), one one inch three ring binder with inside pocket, one composition book, one box of 24 count Crayola crayons, one pair of Fiskars blunt tip scissors, three pocket and prong folders, one large box of tissues and three glue sticks.
Kindergarten: Four boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons, three bottles of Elmer’s glue, one pair of Fiskars scissors for kids, one school supply box (regular size only), two boxes of tissues and one backpack (no wheels). One pack of un-coated paper plates (boys only). One pack of paper lunch bags (girls only).
First Grade: Three boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons, four bottles of Elmer’s glue, one pair of blunt scissors, two yellow highlighters, one school supply box, one 1 1/2 inch three ring binder, one two pocket red folder, one three pronged folder (blue or green), three boxes of tissues, one backpack (no wheels) and one set of headphones.
Second Grade: Two bottles of Elmer’s glue, one pair of blunt scissors, two boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons, one box of wooden pencils, one school supply box, two pink erasers, three pocket folders (one yellow, one red, one design/color optional) two spiral notebooks, one 1 1/2 inch three ring binder, one backpack (no wheels) and two boxes of tissues.
Optional: Ear buds will be provided but if student wants to bring their own they can but student will be responsible.
Third Grade: Four spiral notebooks, three packs of all wooden pencils, one big eraser, two boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons, one wooden ruler with centimeters, two bottles of Elmer’s glue, four pocket folders, one pair of scissors, one school supply box, three boxes of tissues, one highlighter and one backpack (no wheels), one set of ear buds, one package of brown lunch sacks and one package of Ziploc bags.
Fourth Grade: One box of colored pencils, one bottle of Elmer’s glue, one pair of small scissors (to fit in a pencil pouch), one composition notebook, two packs of #2 wooden pencils, one pack of erasers, two boxes of tissues, three pocket folders, two reams/packs of loose paper, one highlighter, one one inch binder with pockets, one pencil pouch with holes to fit in binder, one set of ear buds/headphones in Ziploc Bag and one backpack (no wheels).
Mrs. Smotherman’s class: Three small packages of pencils, one three ring binder, one plastic folder, two packages of notebook paper, one pencil pouch, one package of dry erase markers (large point), one package of 12 colored pencils, one box of Crayola large point markers. Smotherman’s fifth and sixth grade: Non-marking shoes for P.E. Smotherman’s seventh and eighth grade: P.E. — white or grey T-shirt, blue or black shorts, non-marking shoes, towel, deodorant, soap and shampoo. Art: sixth – eighth grade: Sketchbook, white block eraser. Wish list: yarn and glitter.
Fifth and sixth grades: One package of pencils, erasers, two red ink pens, one pair of scissors, black Expo Markers (for student use), one package of colored pencils, Elmer’s glue and pair of headphones or earbuds. Math: one inch three ring binder with paper and one set of five tab dividers. Language: Two one subject notebooks and one inch three ring binder with paper. Social studies: One inch three ring binder, loose leaf paper and one pocket folder (any color). Science: One inch three ring binder, may have pockets and two packages of loose leaf paper. Physical education: Non-marking tennis shoes. Music: Folder with two pockets and prongs in the center and one single subject notebook. Art (sixth grade): Sketchbook and white block eraser. Wish list: Yarn and glitter.
Seventh and eighth grades: Paper, pens (red and blue or black), pencils, one package of dry erase markers (for student use), headphones or earbuds, colored pencils and Elmer’s glue. Science: Two composition or spiral notebooks, one pocket folder with center tabs, one package of college ruled notebook paper and one centimeter ruler. Language arts: Two inch three ring binder with paper and one subject notebooks.
Physical education: White or grey T-shirt, blue or black shorts, non-marking shoes (can only be worn in the gym), towel, deodorant, soap/shampoo and flipflops for shower. Math: One inch three ring binder with paper, Expo markers (fine point), scientific calculator, one set of five tab dividers. Eighth grade will need a calculator all year. Seventh grade will need a calculator for the second semester. Recommendations (any scientific calculator will suffice, however these are the calculators Mr. Poe suggests) Texas Instruments TI-30IIS 2-line, Casio fx-300MS, Casio fx-115ES, Casio fx-300ES. History: Three subject notebook and large pack of popsicle sticks. Art (sixth grade): Sketchbook and white block eraser. Wish list: Yarn and glitter.
