Cpl. Adam Trump, a Licking native, was awarded Marine of the Year recognition for 2024.

For the 3d Marine Division, he was selected out of 32,000 Marines.

Trump was recognized for outstanding leadership, honor and work ethic. The ceremony occurred May 21 in Arlington, Virginia.

Trump was born and raised in Texas County. He is the son of Ann Yates and Joseph Trump, and a 2021 graduate of Licking High School.
