Nathan A. Jones, 30, of U.S. 63 in Cabool, is charged with failure to register as a sex offender (a class E felony).
According to a Texas County Sheriff’s Department deputy’s report, while Jones was in custody (for an unreported offense), the officer was advised that Jones was a sex offender due to a conviction in Wichita Falls, Texas, in June 2023, and he had not reported moving to Cabool within three business days in the fall of 2024.
As of May 7, 2025, Jones had reportedly still not reported his move to the TCSD, as required by law. He was charged on July 9.
