A Cabool man is charged with felony domestic assault that left injuries to a victim.
Richard L. Michael, born in 1976, is held on $5,000 cash-only bond following a Cabool Police Department investigation at apartments on Ozark Avenue.
Officers arrived just after midnight Tuesday and found a woman with injuries to her face. The woman alleged Michael had put his hands around her throat and was choking her until she could not breathe. The woman said she also had been struck by the man’s fists.
An ambulance crew examined the woman, but she declined treatment.
