A 49-year-old Houston woman received moderate injuries Monday afternoon in an accident four miles east of Houston on Highway B.
Cpl. Stacy Crewse said the driver was operating an eastbound 2016 Ford Fusion that ran off the road and struck a ditch and fence at about 1:40 p.m. near the Big Piney Sportsman’s Club.
The woman, who was not identified by the patrol, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.
The Houston Rural Fire Department assisted at the scene, along with Tpr. Jason Sentman.
