Overview:
Students and families can meet teachers, tour buildings to prepare for 2025-26 school year.
The Houston School district is hosting open houses Thursday, Aug. 14, in preparation for the 2025-26 school year. Times are as follows:
- Elementary school, H.A.L.O. and Early Childhood Center: 5:30-7 p.m.
- Middle school: Sixth grade and new student orientation at Hiett Gym, 6 p.m. MS building open until 7:30 p.m. for tours of classrooms.Â
- High school: freshmen and new student orientation at Hiett Gym, 7 p.m. High School building open at 6 p.m. for tours of classrooms.Â
The first day of school is Aug. 19.
