Texas County Collector-Treasurer Tammy Cantrell said six tracts of land were sold for a total of $52,300 at Monday morning’s land tax sale at the front door of the Texas County Administrative Center in downtown Houston.
Notices were earlier sent to citizens who were delinquent on their taxes. A list was also published for three weeks.
The previous owner has one year to redeem the property or it is transferred to the purchaser.
