​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Aug. 25 and 31, the Houston Police Department responded to 218 calls for service and initiated 38 traffic stops, resulting in eight citations and 35 warnings.
- On Aug. 25, officers responded to the 400 block of N. Grand Avenue for a domestic dispute. Neither party wished to pursue charges.
- On Aug. 26, officers arrested Patrick Mister, 21, of Raymondville, on two active Rolla Municipal warrants for failure to appear for traffic-related offenses. Mister was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he posted the total bond of $200 and was released.
- On Aug. 26, an officer cited Emmanuel Ramirez-Martinez, 35, of Houston, for operating a motorcycle without being motorcycle-qualified.Â
- On Aug. 27, an officer cited Haylee R. Kent, 23, of Washington, for driving while suspended.
- On Aug. 28, an officer cited Edward L. Bluebaum, 80, of Houston, for failure to abate a nuisance.
- On Aug. 29, officers responded to the intersection of First and Ozark streets for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Aug. 29, officers located a male subject at the high school football game who was a registered sex offender and not allowed in the area. The male subject was arrested and incarcerated in the Texas County Jail. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney for formal charges of physically present/loitering within 500 feet of a school and physically present/loitering within 500 feet of a park.
- On Aug. 30, officers received a report of a missing person. The missing person was located on Aug. 31.
- On Aug. 30, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. The victim later decided not to pursue charges.
- On Aug. 30, officers responded to the 1000 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Sherri M. Ray, 58, of Bucyrus, for stealing under $750.
