Storms dropped rain and disrupted power early Monday in eastern Texas County.

The Houston Rural Fire Department was called at about 5 a.m. to a report of a tree on fire at Route 17 and McKinney Road. Workers with Intercounty Electric Cooperative Association had reported the blaze. Some outages were reported.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for eastern Texas County until 7:30 a.m. Friday. It said 2 to 4 inches of rain fell in that area.
