A 30-year-old Licking man escaped injury Saturday in a four-vehicle crash on I-70 in Lafayette County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

A chain-reaction accident involved two vehicles and two motorcycles. The patrol said all came to a sudden stop due to a crash ahead at 10 a.m.

The Texas County man’s 2019 Jeep sustained moderate damage. He escaped injury. The two motorcyclists had moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

The patrol released no names.
