Four Houston High School students were named to the 2025 South Central District Honor Choir following Saturday’s auditions.
Gavin Altman, Jack Sandberg, Jaelyn Scholz and Hudson Volk received the honor while competing against nearly 100 singers from 40 high schools across the region. Altman, Sandberg and Scholz finished in the top 25 to advance to the Nov. 1 auditions for the Missouri All-State Choir.
Also competing were HHS students Ashlynn Brazier, Valorie Carroll, Devinne Fischer, Auriana Samphere, Emily Johnston and Peyton Morning.
