The Houston High School girls basketball team will play its first game at Tiger Fieldhouse for the 2025-26 season Monday night against county-rival Licking.

The Lady Tigers (1-2) started their season last week with a third-place finish at the Fordland Invitational. Houston, seeded fourth out of eight teams, defeated No. 5 Fordland before losing to No. 1 Greenwood and No. 3 Dora.

Through three games, freshman Millie Manier leads the team with 27 points.

The Lady Wildcats (2-2) defeated Salem on Nov. 25 and went 1-2 at the Frisco League Tournament, with a win against Newburg and losses to Dixon and Richland.
