A Mountain Grove woman was injured Friday morning in an accident five miles south of Licking on U.S. 63.

Cpl. Jacob Sellars said a northbound 2010 GMC Terrain ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree after the driver fell asleep.

The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The vehicle had moderate damage.
