Between Jan. 19 and 25, the Houston Police Department answered 198 calls for service and initiated 26 traffic stops, which resulted in 14 citations and 23 warnings.

  • On Jan. 20, officers cited Michael L. Northern, 57, of Springfield, for driving while suspended.
  • On Jan. 21, officers responded to the 300 block of Broadway for a domestic disturbance. The parties separated for the evening.
  • On Jan. 21, officers arrested Philip Harpole, 67, on an active Waynesville Municipal warrant per charge of failure to appear – speeding. Harpole was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he posted the $500 bond and was released.
  • On Jan. 21, officers cited Austin R. Warner, 28, of Houston for passing a school bus while loading/unloading.
  • On Jan. 22, officers responded to the 100 block of N. Grand Avenue for a domestic assault. Following an investigation, officers arrested a 38-year-old female for third-degree domestic assault. A report was sent to the Texas County prosecutor for the filing of formal charges.
  • On Jan. 23, officers responded to the intersection of U.S. 63 and Thomasville Road for a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On Jan. 23, officers arrested Haylee Kent, 24, of Houston, for an active Houston Municipal warrant per charge of driving while suspended. Kent was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she posted the $250 bond.
  • On Jan. 24, officers responded to N. Industrial Road for a motor vehicle crash. Following an investigation, a 33-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County prosecutor for the filing of formal charges.
  • On Jan. 24, officers responded to the 100 block of Ashley Lane for a domestic disturbance. The parties separated for the evening.
  • On Jan. 24, officers arrested David C. Eslinger, 47, of Mountain View, on an active Willow Springs Municipal warrant per charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Eslinger was transported to the Texas County Jail.
