A public forum for candidates seeking seats on the Houston R-1 Board of Education has been announced for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, inside the lobby of Tiger Fieldhouse.
Four persons – incumbents Dustin Hartman, Darren Ice and Tressie Neugebauer as well as challenger Bob Wolfe – are vying for three seats on the board. Each is a three-year term.
The public is invited to submit questions for consideration for the candidates by emailing mcarpenter@houston.k12.mo.us.
The forum is hosted by the local chapter of the Missouri State Teachers Association.
