A Houston man is charged with second-degree felony domestic assault following an incident on Sunday.

Dylan R. Daniel, born in 1994 and a resident of the 500 block of Hawthorn Street, was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Houston Police Department. An officer saw a fresh, moderate laceration and swelling to the side of the victim’s head, as well as lower gum, where dry blood was visible near the teeth.

Daniel denied any involvement, but admitted to drinking alcohol. He alleged the victim had hit him, but declined to give a written statement.
