The hearing will occur at 4:30 p.m. at Houston City Hall. It will allow persons “to show cause why the building or structures reported to be a dangerous building should not be repaired, vacated or demolished.”

The properties are 405 Phelps St. (former Houston Mill), 204 S. First St., 216 Mill St., 912 W. Highway 17 Terrace and 401 Oak St.

The move follows a council priority to identify properties for repairs.
