The Houston Board of Education made a flurry of employment decisions during a 2 hour, 36 minute closed session of Tuesday’s monthly board meeting.
Resignations – all for the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year – were accepted from:
- Josh Bradshaw (speech-language pathologist assistant)
- Linda France (speech-language pathologist assistant)
- Erin Johnston (high school social studies teacher)
- Tracy Hughes (middle school principal)
- Tyan Nettleton (speech-language pathologist assistant supervisor)
- Zelda Rose (paraprofessional)
- Ashley Regna (elementary teacher)
- Darcie Manion (custodian)
- Dustin Bell (high school social studies teacher).
New contracts for the 2026-27 school year were extended to:
- Willa Vandiver, middle school math
- Kylee Elmore, high school head girls basketball coach
- Molly (Vandiver) Sellin, substitute nurse.
- Matthew Knapp, middle school principal.
Tenure contracts for the 2026-27 school year were extended to:
- Jennifer Gunter
- Micah Lee
- Trina Morgan
- Adam Vandiver
- Robin Wallace
- Dawn Williams
Probationary teacher lists and director lists for the 2026-27 school year were approved.
