Texas County’s unemployment figures dropped three-tenths of a percentage point in May, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The rate was 3.9 percent.
The labor force totaled 9,229 — of those, 363 were on the books as unemployed, according to the report.
Other counties and their jobless rates: Douglas, 4.1; Howell, 3.8; Shannon, 5.1; and Wright, 4.1.
The average in the region was 4.7 percent.
