A 22-year-old Cabool man was seriously injured Tuesday evening when his vehicle ran off U.S. 60 at Route 181, struck a bridge support, became airborne and hit two more.

Tpr. Travis Sullivan said the westbound 2014 Toyota Camry came to rest on the right side of the roadway. It had been traveling at a high rate of speed, he said.

The driver, who was not identified, was taken by Texas County Memorial Hospital ambulance to Ozark Healthcare in West Plains after the 7:05 p.m. crash.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled.

Assisting were the Cabool Police Department, Cabool Fire Department and Cpl. Justin Dedmon of the patrol.
