A Licking man is charged with two drug offenses following an investigation on Saturday, May 16, authorities said.

John R. Paulson, 67, is charged with first-degree trafficking drugs or attempting, a class A felony. According to documents, Paulson possessed more than 20 milligrams of fentanyl. He also is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D misdemeanor.

Bond for Paulson, who resides on Dorman Drive, is set at $50,000 cash only.
