The following cancellations have been announced due to inclement weather in the region:
MONDAY
•Every Texas County school district has dismissed classes.
•The daycare at Plato Schools is closed. All sports practices are canceled.
•Houston Schools said a determination on the boys’ and girls’ basketball games will be made sometime Monday.
•There will be a two-hour delayed reporting on Fort Leonard Wood for those personnel who are not critical/essential.Unscheduled leave policy is in effect.
SUNDAY
•Faith Fellowship, Houston, as well as Celebrate Recovery.
•Souls Harbor Family Worship, Houston.
•Life Church, Houston.
•First Baptist Church, Houston
•First Christian Church, Houston.
•Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church.
•Ozark Baptist Church.
•United Methodist Church, Houston and Cabool.
•Clara Baptist Church.
•Ticket sales for the Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Faith Fellowship have been extended through Monday. They are available from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Burch Insurance in Houston or the church office from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
•Due to the poor travel conditions, the Texas County Fair steer weigh-in will be postponed until next Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
SATURDAY
•HHS Tigers’ SCA home game with Willow Springs. Will be played Monday.
•Houston youth basketball games.
•ACT test at HHS.
