Originally from middle Tennessee, Zoe graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2026 with a master’s in journalism. She primarily covers local government and school board and writes features for the Herald.

Doug Davison, a Washington State University graduate, began his journalism career in 2001 at the White County News in Georgia. He came to the Herald in 2007.

Sharon Hayes, born and raised in Texas County, Missouri, came to the Herald in 2000. Her favorite pastimes are flea markets, auctions and traveling.

Melissa Overshon, a Houston resident, came to the Herald in 2024. She holds a B.S. from Drury University and will complete a master’s degree in 2025.
