Korbyn Tune led a balanced scoring attack as the Houston sevent-hgrade boys’ basketball team beat Licking 21-15 on Nov. 3.
Tune had nine points in the Tigers’ season-opening victory. Austin Ramsey added six points, Hunter McKinney scored four and Ebin Smith had two.
Last Tuesday, Austin Ramsey scored a team-best six points in the seventh grade’s 30-18 loss.
Ebin Smith added five, Tune had four and Josh Smith scored three for Houston (1-1).
EIGHTH GRADE: Evan Fisher-Koch and Chris Cichon scored six points apiece in the eighth grade’s 43-20 Nov. 3 loss to Licking.
Rene Lathrom and Jacob Moseley scored three points apiece. Ty Franklin added two.
Last Tuesday, Alex Castleman and Moseley scored nine points apiece in a 49-34 defeat against West Plains.
Franklin added five points for Houston (0-2). Cichon and Evan Fisher-Koch scored four points apiece. Trevor Mitchell had three.
