A woman from Licking was killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Dent County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. C.A. Pulley said a southbound 2004 Dodge Neon driven by Joanna M. Sands, 35, traveled off Highway C south of Lenox, returned to the roadway, crossed the centerline and struck a 2014 Ford F-250 operated by Steven R. Jackson, 45, of Rolla.
Sands was pronounced dead at the scene at about 2:50 p.m. by Dent County Coroner Gina White. Jackson was taken by ambulance to Salem Memorial Hospital.
Pulley said both were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were totaled.
