Ally Morgan scored 15 points and Stephani Crewse had 10 off the bench to lead the Houston JV Lady Tigers past Salem 58-34 Monday night.
Houston, which is undefeated during the regular season, led 27-14 at the half.
The JV Lady Tigers suffered their first losses of the season last week playing as the No. 8 seed in a varsity tournament in Mansfield.
Last Tuesday, Monica Hunter and Chloe Hunninghake had six points apiece in Houston’s 47-24 loss to top-seeded Norwood.
Norwood finished second in the tournament –– losing in the title game to the varsity Lady Tigers.
On Friday, Houston managed to play Conway to a draw in the second half of a 47-32 loss.
Hunninghake, who hit a pair of 3-pointers, and Morgan led the JV Lady Tigers with nine points apiece.
To conclude the tournament on Saturday, Houston nearly upset a conference varsity opponent. The JV Lady Tigers hung close with Mountain Grove in a 47-42 defeat.
Sevanna Rowland led the way with 12 points for Houston, which outscored Mountain Grove 13-7 in the fourth quarter to close the gap. Morgan scored 12 and Hunninghake hit two 3-pointers en route to 10 points.
