A Raymondville man was flown Tuesday afternoon from an accident scene in eastern Texas County.
Tpr. Marty Wiseman said a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu operated northbound by William F. Miller, 27, of Raymondville, crossed the center of Golden Drive and struck a southbound 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup driven by Richard A. Weatherston, 28, of Houston.Â
Miller was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. It couldn’t be determined if Miller was wearing a seat belt. Weatherston, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.Â
Wiseman said the car was totaled, and the truck had extensive damage.
Members of the Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad and Raymondville Fire Department were on the scene.Â
