Services: Saturday, Nov. 21, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal

Beverly Sileven, 76, a former Houston resident, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal.

She was born July 7, 1939, in Denver, Colo., daughter of Roy Brooks and Katherine Nieberger Reasoner. She and Larry Sileven were married Aug. 13, 1961, in Appleton City.

She was the church secretary for more than 35 years at Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting and always enjoyed having her family help her with projects. She loved holidays, especially the Fourth of July.

She was an avid collector of nativity scenes, amassing a collection of more than 500.

Beverly was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She participated in the choir and also taught Sunday school in the past.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Gunter.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; four children, Michelle Todd, Janelle Wathen, Tracy Fuller and Larinee Dennis; a sister, Joyce Foley; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are Saturday, Nov. 21, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal with Brother Jeff Anderson officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of James O’Donnell Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church children’s ministry or the Calvary Baptist Church shoebox ministry.
