A Houston ministry is hosting a two-day conference this month aimed at biblically instructing and empowering teenage girls.

Pro 3One is a traveling ministry that covers topics teens face daily: dating, true beauty, worth, value, fear and more. It is an outreach of Undivided Hearts.

The event is Aug. 21-22 inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. The weekend will feature live worship, games, food, door prizes and breakout sessions.

“Girls who attend Pro 3One will make lasting friendships and learn life-changing lessons that will impact their lives forever,” said Brittney McNiell, one of the event organizers.

Pro 3One, which began in the summer of 2013, emphasizes the Biblical principles of a Proverbs 31 woman. The group’s mission is to show girls who they are in Jesus Christ and their important roles in their family, church and society.

Along with an initial conference in Houston, Pro 3One conferences have been held in Poplar Bluff and will travel this fall to East Prairie.

The conference, which will be held from 6-10 p.m. the opening night and 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the second day, is open to all girls from middle school through college. The cost is $20 for the entire weekend and includes snacks, lunch and a T-shirt if registration is completed by Friday.
