The Houston Rural Fire Department will holds its second annual motorcycle Poker Run on Saturday, July 18 (today).
The event begins at 10 a.m. at Pizza Express on South Sam Houston Blvd. and ends at the Houston Rural Fire Department on Walnut Street in Downtown Houston. Cost is $20 for riders and $10 for passengers.
Prizes for $150 for best hand and $75 for second will be presented.
There will be door prizes. Sandwiches and drinks will be served for donations. Participants will be fed free and a $500 raffle will be held after the ride.
All proceeds go to fire and rescue equipment for the community.
People who attend may pay their annual fire dues.
