Bonnie Ilene Cooper, 81, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015.

She was born April 4, 1934, in Alley Springs, daughters of Walter Fremont and Gladys Mae Younger Sanders. She and William “Bill” Edward Cooper were married Dec. 29, 1948.

She was saved by the blood of Jesus, gave her heart to the Lord and was baptized at a young age.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Edward Cooper, her parents; a brother, Donald Sanders; and a sister, Mavis Cook.

Survivors include three children, Ronald Leon Cooper of Elkins, Ark., Donna Mae Kenagy of Cuba, Mo., and William Edward Cooper, Jr. of Rogers, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenny Sanders, Clinton Sanders and Denny Sanders; and a sister, Madrene Pulliam.

Services were Saturday, May 9, at Bradford Funeral Home in Summersville with the Rev. Charles Younger officiating. Burial was in New Eminence Cemetery.
