A Licking man was killed Friday night in an accident west of his hometown.

A Licking man was killed Friday night in a crash on West Highway 32, the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

Terry E. Walker, 47, was the driver of a westbound 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix that ran off the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, overturned and partially ejected the driver, said Sgt. Dale Pounds.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Texas County Coroner Tom Whittaker.

The 11 p.m. accident occurred about five miles west of Licking.  Also assisting at the scene was the Licking Fire Department and Tpr. Marty Wiseman.
