The Raymondville Fire Department responded at about 2 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a brush fire at Possum Trot and Friendship drives.
Another fire was reported at 3:52 p.m. on Bee Rock Drive at Raymondville.
At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Houston Rural Fire Department was dispatched to a large brush fire at 17259 Oakwood, east of Houston, where authorities said leaves were burning and spreading into the trees.
