Longtime Houston businessman W.T. “Ted” Scheets has died.
Scheets, 101, passed away Monday at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Services are Friday at the First Christian Church in Houston. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Evans Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Scheets, a recipient of Houston’s Lifetime Achievement Award, owned a longtime business in downtown Houston, Scheets Hardware.
